Sfi Air Filter Cartridge

Unlike pleated dust collection bags, which contain media with various coatings depending on the needs of the applications, pleated dust collection cartridges are composed entirely of spun-bonded polyester media. From a construction standpoint Cartridges and pleated dust collection bags are comparable. Their only difference is how the filtration area varies. With just a few small adjustments to the current equipment design, manufacturers and OEMs of dust collectors can switch out standard tube bags for pleated dust collection bags and cartridges. High tenacity filament yarn is used to create this polyester medium without the need of a binding agent. Hard finished materials are therefore structurally robust and highly stable against hot gas attack.

This special and durable finished material has excellent pleating ability, a unique structure of very fine filament yarn that offers high filtration performance, and high durability. Better washability, outstanding pleating ability, stable structure, fine dust release, and strong resistance to particle penetration into the media are all benefits of thermally tight bonded media.
